Is the farm open to the public? No, unfortunately we are not, but an appointment can be made in advance if Twisted Sisters is in agreement. We do offer open days where visitors can pick their own flowers on occasion throughout the years. Sign up to the newsletter to hear first.
How do I sign up to the newsletter? A pop-up appears when you first visit the website or you can sign up here.
Are your flowers organic? To get your farm organic status takes a lot of time and financial input. So whilst we are not organic we do not use chemical that maybe harmful to the environment.
Do you offer gift bouquets and arrangements with delivery? During our growing season we do accept orders for gift bouquets and arrangements, however delivery at present is at a local level only and does attract a nominal fee. Pick up is also accepted by prior arrangement.
Do you offer gift certificates? Yes, if you are interested in giving someone special a gift certificate to use against a future workshop, bouquet or arrangement then please contact us via the general enquiry form. Values we offer are £50, £75, £100 and multiples of.
Why buy from us? We very much champion local business and appreciate many other do too. Flowers are grown in the field and when cut are at their optimum and freshest so no air/sea miles. Many of our flowers are also not available in your local supermarket or high street florist.
Are flowers available all year round? Twisted Sisters is a seasonal flower farm so our growing months and availability is generally late April - October.
How do I order flowers? Please contact us through the website and we will be happy to discuss your requirements
Do the flowers require special care/conditions? Flowers are a perishable product therefore certain care and conditions will aid in prolonging their life. We have a page explaining here.
How many buckets of flowers will I require for a DIY wedding/Selfie package? That really does depend on your requirements. Buckets have approx 60-80 stems of mixed flowers and foliage. We offer a bridal workshop or 1:1 which will enable us to help you calculate how many stems you’ll need to fulfil your vision.
How many stems in my Selfie bucket? Approx 60-80 stems of mixed flowers and foliage.
Are there any flowers not included in my flower bucket? Yes, premium flowers such as Roses and Peonies.
Should I bring my own bucket? No, buckets are provided but it would be a good idea to make sure your vehicle is suitable and space prepared to stabilise buckets when travelling.
When can I pick up my flowers? The Selfie and Capsule collection flowers/arrangements can be picked up the day before or morning of the event. Any other times by prior arrangement.
Can I choose my colour palette? We do our best to work with a colour palette however we generally offer packages in brights, pastels/muted colours or neutrals (greens/white). For the Bespoke option colour palette and flower varieties are discussed during consultation.
Do we have a consultation? Only for bespoke package or Capsule collection when minimum spend is achieved. Any other consultation can be arranged and fee payable.
How do we book and pay? Once you have decided on final order, you will be sent an invoice with deposit details. Dates aren’t secured until deposit/booking fee (non-returnable) is paid. Full payment will then be required 4 weeks before event/Please see T’s and C’s.
How long is a quote valid for? Your quote is valid for 14 days.
Can I change my order? Yes, to a certain extend, up to 6 weeks (full payment date) before date. Any changes have to be agreed with Twisted Sisters. Please see T’s and C’s.
How will I know what flowers are available at a specific time of the year? Mother Nature will play a huge part in this but we will let you know what varieties should be in bloom around your chosen date. We never promise varieties 100%.
Do you provide basic tutorials? Tutorials are not included in any package. You are able to purchase these here if you would like help/advice.
I have heard floral foam is bad for the environment. Do you use it in your arrangements? No, we try to keep things as eco-friendly as possible and from the beginning.chose not to use floral form.
Do you provide wholesale flowers to florists/floral designers/floristry students? Yes, we provide wholesale buckets of blooms or particular stem counts/wraps. Just get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
Do you offer work experience/internships? Yes, we often require help during the growing/wedding season. If you’re interested working with us then do get in touch we’d love to hear from you.
